An image (from Latin: imago ) is an artefact that depicts visual perception, for example, a photo or two -Dimension < b> image , which has a similar appearance to some subject - usually a physical object or person, giving it a description.

Images can be two-dimensional, like a photograph or screen display, or three-dimensional, like a sculpture or a hologram. They can be captured by optical devices - such as cameras, mirrors, lenses, telescopes, microscopes, etc. And natural objects and phenomena, such as the human eye or water.
The word 'image' is also used in a broader sense of the two-dimensional figure such as maps, graphs, pie charts, or paintings. The mental picture is in the mind of a person, as something memorable or imaginary. The subject of the image is not necessarily real; this may be an abstract concept, such as a graph, function, or "imaginary" entity. For example, Sigmund Freud claimed to have pure dreams in the drawings of aural dialogue.
The development of synthetic acoustic technology and the creation of sound art has led to consideration of the possibility of a sound image consisting of an irreducible phonic substance beyond linguistic or musical analysis.
Still or moving
A still image is a single static image. This phrase is used in photography, visual media and the computer industry to emphasize that one is not talking about film, or in technical writing that is as precise or pedantic as the standard.
A moving image is usually a movie (film) or video, including digital video. It can also be an animated look like a zoetrope.
The silent frame is a still image that comes from a moving frame. Instead, the film is still a photo taken on film sets or television programs during production, used for promotional purposes.
