Bulletin is a printed report containing news (information) from business activities (legal name, subscription business model) or organization (institution, community, association) sent by mail regularly to all members, customers, employees or persons interested. Bulletins generally contain one main topic of interest to the recipients. A newsletter can be considered as gray literature. E-newsletters (email marketing) are sent electronically via e-mail and can be viewed as spam if sent unsolicited.

There is a German prize for the best newsletter, which has been given annually since 2014 in Frankfurt.
