Australia
Architectural education in Australia varies depending on the university that offers the course. All of Australia's schools and architecture programs have recently moved into several variations on the Bologna 3 2 model, with a three-year bachelor's degree, followed by a two-year Master of Architecture-based degree. Some universities also require 6-12 months of practical work experience between two degrees. Registration as an architect is via a state-based board and requires a minimum of two years of practical experience under the supervision of a registered architect. In addition there are double degrees offered by many universities, such as those that combine architecture with construction or landscape architecture. Some universities also offer master's programs in architecture through courses or research. Many faculty offer architecture related courses in landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, property and construction. Admission to the Australian architecture program is highly competitive and the proportion of students in some architectural schools from outside Australia is very high, up to 40%.

In France, architectural education is offered in various independent architectural schools, both private and public. The first step of architectural education is the Diploma of Studies in Architecture , a three-year degree equivalent to a Bachelor of Architecture. This degree does not allow registration as an architect, scholarship recipients must pursue a Master of Architecture degree to obtain a vocational qualification.

Turkish
Architectural education is offered at various universities as a four-year program. The language of the program depends on the university.
United Arab Emirates
American University of Sharjah is the first university outside of North America to offer B.Arch. which is officially accredited by the US National Architecture Accreditation Board (NAAB).
United Kingdom
Architectural education is slightly different in England. The five-year course never existed in a similar way to the United States, but the 1960s saw the introduction of the sandwich course and the B.Arch split. become a 3-year BA (Hons.) degree (or in some BSc cases) followed by one year of practical work, after which a 2-year MA, PG-DipArch, M.Arch. or B.Arch. done. A further year of employment completes the student education after graduating from the final exam of Part III (see below). Registration as an architect is then authorized by the Registration Board of Architects. Many universities in the UK offer postgraduate courses with courses and research in architecture and related fields such as landscape architecture, urban planning and design.
Three-part inspection RIBA
As a result, for most students to become architects in the UK they must pass or be released from parts I, II and III of the RIBA exam. A three year BS or BSc completion provides an exception from Part I. A two-year completion of DipArch, M.Arch. or B.Arch. grant exceptions from Part II and the last two years of supervised practical training, with additional checks and assignments, make the requirements for Section III.
Alternate route to qualification exists by taking the exam directly - currently managed by Oxford Brookes University on behalf of RIBA.
Studying architecture in the UK
Universities that offer architectural programs are validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects in the UK (some offer only parts of the three parts required):
International school validated by RIBA
Some universities outside the UK offer an architectural program validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects in Part I and Part II levels. For students who wish to study outside the UK, RIBA-accredited courses offer the benefits of an internationally recognized degree, and other benefits, such as possible RIBA membership.
United States
The Bachelor of Architecture is accredited by the National Architecture Accreditation Board (NAAB) as a professional degree, allowing the recipient to qualify for an Architecture Registration Check (ARE). NAAB-accredited B.Arch. the program should cover at least 150 semester credit hours, or the equivalent of quarter of an hour, which is at least 45 semester hours, or equivalent to quarter of an hour in a general study.
There are also universities that offer four-year degrees such as Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies or Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.S.Arch) or Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies (B.A.Arch). This is an unaccredited and pre-professional degree, so these students must enroll in the Master of Architecture (M.Arch) program to obtain a professional license. However, enrolling in a pre-professional program often makes the student a shorter M.Arch program. Any architecture-related curriculum may eventually permit licensing, subject to the laws or regulations of the jurisdiction in which you wish to be licensed.
The Undergraduate Architecture study program includes studio courses on aesthetics design and theory, as well as practical courses on structure, building of mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing and construction. Student work is often in the form of drawings and rendering, either through computer-assisted design or hand-crafted arrangements. Students also build a physical model and create a presentation board for pictures and graphics.
In almost all architectural schools in the United States, student and work life revolves around studio classes. Other classes in the architecture curriculum are designed to support the concept emphasized in the studio. One aspect of a very tight studio class is "criticism" or "review". Students "pin-up" models and picture their presentations for instructors (and students) who offer constructive criticism.
Colleges and universities in the United States where a NAAB accredited Architecture or Master of Architecture degree can be obtained, listed below. Many schools offer M.Arch as the first professional degree, preceded by a non-professional B/A. in an Architecture degree.
