Do

The main objective of this test, standardized across India, is to make medical education fairly available to all regions of the country and to encourage inter-regional exchanges. Until 2006, AIPMT was unusual as this is one of the few competitive exams throughout India (together with exams for defense services) based entirely on achievement and without reservation. However, since 2006, under pressure from the Ministry of Human Resources led by Arjun Singh, reservations for OBC have also been introduced at AIPMT.

Each AIPMT Year is held on the first Sunday in May. In 2016, AIPMT/NEET Phase-1 was conducted on May 1, 2016 and NEET Phase-2 was conducted on July 24, 2016.

Timeline How AIPMT Was Deleted -

In 2012 - the Indian Health Council (MCI) and the Indian Dental Council (DCI) organize NEET for admission to UG and PG programs at public and private universities in India. The exam is delayed one year for several reasons.

On July 18, 2013 - The NEET exam was canceled by the Supreme Court to support 115 petitions. They also announce that private medical colleges should not take their own UG and PG exams on the basis of NEET.

Academic Sessions 2016-17 On April 11 - The Supreme Court decided to listen to the Indian Medical Council. On April 28, 2016 the court announced that they would only conduct one general admission test just before the 2 day AIPMT called the NEET Test Phase 1.

On April 18 - In the session of 2016-17, SC agreed to hold NEET in 2 phases. Candidates who do not appear in phase 1 test, AIPMT will be regarded as phase 2.

On May 1st - CBSE performs NEET phase 1 and nearly 6 lakh candidates appear in the exam.

On May 25 - SC cleared up all the confusion that private colleges would no longer have separate exams for medical reception.

On May 9 - SC rejected applications filed by state and minority government to take separate entrance exams for MBBS and BDS programs for the current year.

On May 20 - the National Defense Agency came out to guard the state government. exams out of the general test field.

On May 23 - The Delhi government finally made the decision to make NEET the only test for admission to medical school.

On May 24th - the President of India finally signed a general medical admission order that was held for a year.

Exam Pattern

Exam changed

In 2010, the AIPMT pattern changed. The examination was replaced by a Two-level or Two-stage test - AIPMT Promotion and AIPMT Principles, in which AIPMT Prelop was used to be an objective test and AIPMT Parent was used to be a test of prostration. Candidates who can qualify for AIPMT Prelims are eligible to provide AIPMT Parent tests. Finally, people who get good grades in AIPMT Mains are chosen to be accepted purely on the basis of candidate achievement in AIPMT Mains. Reception is done wisely

In 2013, the pattern changed again - The Two tier examination was replaced by the National Feasibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). It is a national test that must be admitted to all MBBS and BDS seats in all the colleges covered by previous exams.

From 2014 onwards, the Trials are referred to as AIPMT again, and performed for only 15% of seats, as was done before for the National Eligibility Entry Test (NEET-UG). Check out the current exam pattern below for more details.

Current exam pattern

Trials are conducted in one stage that usually occurs on the first Sunday of May. The examination consists of a paper containing 180 questions of objective types of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology), has 45 questions from each subject. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. Each question carries 4 marks. For each wrong response, one mark is used to subtract from the total score. However, no deduction from the total score is made if no response is indicated for an item. Indication of more than one answer to a question is considered to be an incorrect and negatively characterized response.

Criticism

AIPMT is criticized because it is only done in English and Hindi, making it more difficult for students where vernacular languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Marathi or Gujarati are more prominent. For example, in September 2011, the Gujarat High Court acted on Public Interest Litigation by the Gujarati Sahitya Parish to conduct an exam in Gujarati. The second petition was made in October 2011.

AIPMT 2015, 2016: Prohibition of shawl controversy '

AIPMT in 2015 has registered scarves in the list of illicit items, creating controversy and anger especially in the state of Kerala, where a nun refuses to perform for the test because she refuses to remove her headgear. This happened after the Supreme Court upheld the CBSE ban. The Kerala HC has allowed two Muslim girls to wear the headscarf and full armor on condition that they are carded to have the superintendent deemed necessary. However, in Sister Seba's case, the official is not allowed even when she is ready for frying.

AIPMT maintained the same norm in its 2016 instructions, sparking protests by Front Campus India in front of the CBSE office in Kerala on 13 April. The subsequent protests led to the arrest of several protesting girls. Thus the CBSE challenges a single seat seat of the Kerala High Court and grants Muslim girls permission to wear the Hijab for All India Pre-Medical Exams 2016 Judge Muhammed Mushtaq has authorized all candidates wishing to wear a full headscarf and full-length dress to appear for examination but on condition that they will be present in the hall half an hour before the test to be heralded, if necessary by the women invigilators The order is issued upon hearing the petition to change the dress code

AIPMT 2015 leakage

In AIPMT 2015 (May 3, 2015), police Haryana (Rohtak) arrested four people, including two dentists and a MBBS student, from Rohtak for allegedly delivering the AIPMT 2015 Exam key answers to candidates during the exam, using a vest with SIM card and earpiece Bluetooth enabled. According to the CBSE, the results of the previous Examination are scheduled to be announced on June 5, 2015, but due to the stay orders of the Supreme Court on the declaration, the results were not announced. The Supreme Court has asked the Haryana Police to investigate this issue and identify beneficiaries as soon as possible. Approximately 6.3 lakh students have appeared for checks conducted on May 3, 2015. Later, the results are rescheduled to be declared on June 12, 2015. On June 15, 2015 the Supreme Court requested the CBSE to retake the 2015 AIPMT exam in 4 weeks (July 12, 2015 ). After a hearing on the CBSE request, the Supreme Court has decided to reexamine July 25, 2015. Trials are conducted safely and successfully across the country on the scheduled date (July 25, 2015). Re-AIPMT results declared on August 17, 2015.
